My daughter Shannon and I went on the BPQ walk led by Richard and Chris. It was a cloudy and chilly day (-1 degree Celsius). Even the birds stayed away. We saw and or heard 18 species this morning. I was a nice walk.
Hundreds and hundreds of Canada Geese flew overhead early in the morning.
Black-capped Chickadees were very friendly near the sugar shack.
Shannon got a shot of a Black-capped Chickadee feeding of some seeds.
A few Brown Creepers were creeping up trees.
We saw two Great Blue Herons circling in the distance.
Shannon got photo of a Bluejay that landed nearby.
Shannon took some nature shots.
That all for today’s walk.
