I went to the BPQ outing at Dundee (Réserve Nationale de Faune du Lac Saint-François) today. It was was a cool 12 degrees this morning. It was sunny and quickly warmed up to 21 by noon.
There was a lot of activity at the start of the trail. Right away we spotted a dozen birds.
Here are some shots from the walk.
This is a Cape May Warbler.
We drove a bit further and found an Osprey nest on top of a silo. We saw one of the Ospreys coming back with lunch.
There were a couple of Northern Harriers flying around at the Egret pond.
That all for today’s walk.
