I went to see the sunrise at Technoparc today. It was cool and cloudy.

Joel Coutu organized a Save the Wetlands event today. There were close to 100 birders who showed up. There is hope for the future.

We divided up smaller groups and our little group explored the nooks and crannies of Chemin Saint Francois. We heard finches and grey catbirds. We saw a Northern Flicker on a dead tree in the distance.

We spotted a few European Starlings on a pole.

At a pond of the beaten path, there were some Ducks, American Robins, a pair of Eastern Phoebes, and a Sharp Shinned Hawk.

Near the airport we spotted some sparrows. One was a House Sparrow and the other was a Savannah Sparrow.

At the small pond there were Green Winged teals

At the Small pond a Ruby-throated Hummingbird landed on a branch next to us.

Along Marie Curie, we heard American Redstarts, Philidelphia Vireo, Red-eyed Vireos, Warbling Vireo, Red-shouldered hawk. We spotted a Magnolia Warbler and a Warbling Vireo

I got a shot of a Pileated Woodpecker flying away.
