It was a chilly morning about 6 degrees Celsius with a strong wind from the North with some sun and cloudy periods. My daughter Shannon and Erik went walking and birding with me on the BPQ walk led by Joel.
At a little inlet, we saw American Black Ducks and a pair of American Wigeons.
Female American Wigeon
Male American Wigeon. One was taken by Shannon and one by me. Not much of a difference.
We found a Warbling Vireo up in a tree.
Squirrels were around.
Black-crown Night Heron by the Bistro. These shots are from Erik, Shannon, and myself.
A Rock Pigeon.
Shannon found a Snail.
Erik spotted an American Robin
We all took pictures of Red-winged Blackbirds.
Canada Goose and little ones by Erik
Northern Cardinal by Erik
After the walk we saw a Blue Jay. Erik got this shot of it.
That all for today’s walk.
