I went for an evening walk around the lake in Centennial Park. It was nice and cool spring evening. the temperature was about 8 degrees Celsius. I decided to break in my new pair of walking shoes. The were a little stiff at first. By the end, they were very comfortable.
The Canada Goose looked at me. So I took a photo.
A pair of Mallards were swimming around.
Some male Wood Ducks were swimming nearby.
Quite a few Red-winged Blackbirds were calling out.
A few Common Grackles were around.
A couple of American Robins were looking for food.
I found a pair of Wood Ducks in the reeds.
I saw a small brown bird climbing up a brown tree. Yes, it was a Brown Creeper.
A Black-capped Chickadee landed on a branch next to me.
A Northern Cardinal landed on some branches and I managed to get a shot before he took off.
There were lots of Ring-billed Gulls.
That all for today’s walk.
